4th December 2018

A full Premier League programme over the next two days starts with leaders manchester City facing Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday.

This is a fixture that has proved very fruitful for City in the last two seasons. Last time they won the game 6-0 and the year before 5-0 and before that 2-1.

Watford are solid mid-table and against lesser sides have the firepower to get goals. Interestingly, they have yet to draw at home winning four and losing three. They have picked up points against Southampton (draw) and Huddersfield and Wolves - both wins, but have lost to Newcastle, Leicester and Liverpool in the last six games

City are 2/7 shots, which is no bet of course, but we can't be tempted about a home win or draw, even at big prices.

Huddersfield face tough trip to Bournemouth, who would be shorter but for a run of four defeats - but three of them to top sides, The Terriers had to play for most of the defeat with Brighton with ten men and that will have a kncock on effect tonight. The Cherries look banker material.

Cardiff are saving themselves for winnable home games (they play Southampton at the weekend) and West Ham can get back to back wins after defeating Newcastle at the weekend.
