The European fixtures ensure the Premier League games are split over the weekend.

The most interesting game on Saturday for us is Hull against Newcastle. Boss Alan Pardew is on a knife edge according to the press - but after a long chat with owner Mike Ashley we believe Pardew's position is safe for now.

That said he would not want to lose to a Hull side that struggle on the road albeit they ahve won this fixture the twice it has been played in the Prem.

Newcastle were awful at Southampton and Pardew will have to get more from his new signings. But we think they can improve and win a tight game 1-0.

Elsewhere, Sunderland travel to Burnley - who are still looking for an elusive first win. The Black Cats have been poor against some lower teams and this will worry boss Gus Poyet(Pic). They have already lost to promoted QPR and Burnley could get their first win of the season. We'd rather take the home at 31/20 with Boyles than the away win at 21/10 with the same firm who have closed up the draw.

Speaking of QPR they face a Jekyll and Hyde Stoke side that have lost both games at the Britannia where they are usually rock solid, but have gained four points away including a win at Man City.

Mark Hughes is playing a counter attacking style and at their best the Stoke back line is very good. Stoke look a bet at 9/5.

For draw fanciers look no further than the Swansea v Southampton game. Two inform attacking sides with nothing between them take the 12/5.

Finally we fancy West Ham v Liverpool to be a surprise draw. Liverpool are struggling compared to last season and West Ham are always hard to beat at the Boleyn Ground.
