TITLE SEWN UP - TAKE PALACE & EVERTON

11th May 2014

Whilst the whole football world has only eyes for the race for the title - and barring miracles it is Manchester City's already - lest we forget - there is a full Premier League programme.

The final day is also unique in that all 20 teams play at the same time.

With all issues resolved otherwsie, you might be forgiven for thinking some bizarre results are possible. But from experience final day form can work out ok.

Hull are safe, and the last thing boss Steve Bruce needs are injuries ahead of the Club's first ever Fa Cup final appearance next week. the failings of others have taken the pressure off the Tigers and Bruce in the run -in. But since they won their semi-final they have lost the plot in the league.

Since the semi-final when they beat Sheffield United, Hull's only point came against relegated Fulham in a 2-2 draw. They have lost their other three games, scoring just two other goals.

Whilst Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic are cup tied, they have not had any support from midfiled worth speaking about.

Everton have fallen at the final flight so far as the Champions League is concerned but a win will cement their Europa League place. At evens Everton look a decent bet to see off Hull who have their minds elsewhere.

Fulham players know that their time is up and most of the current squad will not be in Felix Magath's plans next season - assuming he is still there. Tony Pulis on the other hand can build from a position of strength. Knowing Pulis he will want one last effort and Palace look a huge price at 19/10 with Bet365.

Stoke have a tremendous record against West brom who have only beaten the Potters once in the last 20 years. Stoke go to the hawthornes in a good frame of mind. West Brom have stayed up by the skin of their teeth and their home form - normally so reliable has been poor. They have only won four at home all season.

Stoke look a very good bet at 11/4 generally.
