PREM FULL PROGRAMME AS TOP FLIGHT BEATS WEATHER

FULL PROGRAMME AS TOP FLIGHT BEATS WEATHER

3rd March 2018

Whilst most of the sports programme on Saturday has fell foul of the weather - the Premier League has avoided any postponements.

The one game in doubt had been Burnley v Everton, but with the help of fans, the surrounding area and the pitch ave been cleared and depsite freezing temperatures the agme goes ahaead.

Everton's away form has been dire, and Sam Allardyce insists on a sfety first policy with five in midfield in effect.

Their problem is having a plan B if they go behind - but Burnley are the lowest scorers in the Prem by a mile and the game has the hallmarks of a nil-nil before a ball is kicked.

The Clarets and Everton are next to each other in the table and a draw looks a better bet than either side to nick it.

Elsewhere, the likes of Swansea - home to West Ham and Watford - home to West Brom can make a big impact by winning. We think they will.

Huddersfield will hope Spurs are not in the form of recent weeks but despite their win at The Hawthornes, their away profile ahs been poor.

Newcastle face a tough trip to Anfield for the evening fixture - but amazingly have a good recent record against the Reds. Expect a rearguard action from Raffa Benitez as he returns to Anfield.

But, best bet of the day for us has to be Leicester at home to Bournemouth.
