The irony will not be lost on Paul Lambert if his old side Aston Villa are one of the sides to replace Stoke if they get relegated. The Potters need to beat both Crystal Palace at home on Saturday and Swansea away next week and hope other results go their way.

Stoke are 1/20 shots to go down for good reason and it will be a nervous Bet365 Stadium with fans concious it could be their last Premier League home game for a while.

That will give Crystal Palace the chance to take advantage and Roy Hodgson can finally put paid to lingering releagtion fears.

Hodgson has endure the longest injury list in the Prem this season and it will be some achievemnet if, as seems likley, Palace  maintain their position.

Southampton are way too short to beat and Everton side that is twice as good at Goodison than on the road.

Brighton face Man United on Friday night - and are 4/1 shots. United throw in the odd howler - like the home defeat to West Brom, but if the Reds do win the pressure will be on Spurs on saturday who travel to the Hawthornes.

Best bets are Palace and Everton
