The first of the Quarter-Finals are played on Friday.

France v Uraguay could go either way, with the later veruy hard to break down. If France score first they may have a chnace but it's a game to avoid.

All hail Gareth Southgate for losing to Belgium and in so doing avoiding a clash with Brazil. England's Group conquerers, Begium have that honour.

Fair play to Robert Martinez - his side looked dead and buried at one time against Japan in the last round but an inspired double substitution saw a rearkable come-back win.

Belgium won't get any second chances against the seven times winners and Brazil eased into the last eight.

Neymar gets better with every game and Belgium could do with a fully fit Vincent Kompany at the back. The worry is, one of the weaker sides to qualify for the knock-outs in Japan scored two past a hesitant back-line and Neymar and co are more ruthless.

Belgium are 11/4 shots with Brazil odds against to win in 90 minutes. The 11/10 generally available could look good value if Brazil score first.
