INTERNATIONAL BREAK REPERCUSSIONS

19th October 2018

Manchester United boss Jose Mourhino is again bemoaning the international break, which saw most of his squad involved in games over the past 10 days.

Especially as his side, along with Chelsea have the shortest break with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off.

On top of that, United have a poor record at Stamford Bridge in recent years and have not won there for five seasons. They have only garnered a point from the last 15.

Chelsea are flying and can pile more misery on Mourhino.

Elsehwere, Manchester City will underpin most accas at home to Burnley. City's home form is fantastic, but Burnley are huge at 35/1 with Betfair and might be worth punting in the hope they lead as they did two years ago. Opportunities to lay off could then materialise.

The most interesting game is Spurs at the London Stadium. West Ham have improved dramatically and with injuries and tired players, Spurs may be a weak price at odds-on. The Hammers have alreday drawn with Chelsea and beat Man United here this season.

We also like Fulham at 15/8 to beat fello promoted side cardiff who look outclassed.
